The 2011-2012 harvest was very good to Colombia, and it shows.
One of two Colombian selections we are carrying this season, this lovely coffee is everything you want in a classic Colombian bean, yet far more exciting than many we've had in the past.
Hailing from the Huila region in southern Colombia, this gorgeous coffee is lush with creamy chocolate and brown sugary sweetness, but is offset by a fragrant, grapefruit-like citrus quality in its juicy acidity.
Brucelas is on the southern side of Colombia in the department of Huila. Huila is one of our favorite regions within Colombia--the cups have lots of tropical fruit, citric notes, have pleasing acidity and are extremely sweet.
