Cold Brew
Cold water coffee brewing, popular among Dutch settlers in Java in the 19th century, steeps coarsely ground coffee in cold, fresh water for up to 24 hours. When filtered the liquid concentrate, or essence, may be stored in the refrigerator for up to six weeks or may be frozen for longer periods. Our coffee becomes a delicious smooth-tasting low acid cup of coffee. Enjoy it stand alone or as an iced coffee or other cold coffee drinks. Cold Brewing is amazing because about 90% of the flavor elements and the normal caffeine content come through this way, while only about 15% of the oils and acids will end up in the brew this makes "super-flavor" coffee. The flavor elements you like about a given coffee will probably be up to twice as strong, yet the overall brew will have far less bite and acidity.
